Ainsley C. (Fenris Ulf)
This is Ainsley’s fifth year in STP, and her favorite role is her current one! Her favorite part of working on Narnia is the sword choreography. One thing Ainsley has learned this year is to stretch as a character, especially while playing a wild animal! In the future, Ainsley wants to be an author and illustrator of children’s books! In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and art! Ainsley wants to tell the world that there is nothing we can do that is too horrible for Jesus to forgive!
Anamarie C. (Dwarf)
This is Anamarie’s first year in STP, and her current role is her favorite one! Her favorite part of working on Narnia is the music! One thing she has learned this year is how to manage stage fright! In the future, Anamarie wants to be a mom! For now, her hobbies include reading and sewing. Anamarie wants to tell the world that Jesus loves everyone!
Keely G. (Wyreth, Crulie, Hag)
In the two years Keely has been in STP her favorite role has been a wolf! Her favorite part of working on Narnia is the “enthusiasm and happiness of the cast and how everything is done for the glory of God.” One thing she has learned this year is that all roles are important, not just the main characters. Her hobbies include any sports, reading, and brain teasers. In the future, she wants to be a lawyer. Keely wants to tell the world that “because of Jesus we are all forgiven and that He is always with us.”
McGuire G. (Edmund)
This is McGuire’s second year in STP! His favorite role to play so far has been his current one! McGuire’s favorite part of working on Narnia is learning the fight choreography. One thing he has learned this year is that “I’m better at memorizing than I thought!” In his free time, he enjoys swimming, reading, scouts, and fishing. When he grows up, McGuire wants to be a marine biologist. McGuire wants to tell the world that Jesus Lives!
Campbell H. (White Witch)
This is Campbell’s first year in STP and her current role is her favorite! One thing she has learned this year is just how many people it takes to put on an STP production. Some of her hobbies include wakeboarding, drawing, acting, singing, dancing, and snow skiing. In the future, Campbell hopes to be a broadway actress. Campbell wants to tell the world that “all of us sin, no sin is greater than another, Jesus dies for our sins so that we would not die, but live in heaven with God for eternity.”
Eden H. (Lucy)
This is Eden’s first year in STP! Lucy is her favorite role she has played so far! One thing she has learned this year is how to be confident. Her favorite part about working on Narnia is the music. Some of Eden’s hobbies include singing, playing outside, riding her bike, doing arts and crafts, and acting. In the future, Eden hopes to be a Christian singer/actress. Eden wants to tell the world that “Jesus died on the cross for you and has saved you from your sins.”
Joanna M. (Dog, window, statue)
This is Joanna’s first year in STP! Her favorite role she is playing is a window! One thing Joanna has learned this year is to stand in front of people and speak even when she is nervous. Joanna’s favorite part of being in STP is the theatre games. Some of her hobbies include crafting and swimming. When she grows up, Joanna wants to be a veterinarian! Joanna wants to tell the world that Jesus “is kind and powerful.”
Josiah M. (Mr. Tumnus)
Josiah’s favorite role in the two years he has been in STP is his current one! His favorite part of being involved in STP is the theatre games! One thing he has learned from being in Narnia is that it is hard work to memorize lines. In his spare time, Josiah enjoys coding, video games, and legos. In the future, he wants to be a graphic designer. Josiah wants to tell the world that Jesus is a forgiving God.
Emma S. (Cruelie)
This is Emma’s second year in STP! Her favorite role she has played is all of them! One thing she has learned this year is that every part counts. Her favorite part of working on Narnia is the devotions and the theatre games! In her free time, Emma likes drawing, singing, and playing soccer. When she grows up, she wants to be a veterinarian. Emma wants to tell the world the Jesus “is alive and He loves you!
Grace C. (Martha, Demon, Angel)
This is Grace’s third year in STP and her favorite role was “Mary” in An Audience of One! One thing she has learned this year is that “words are powerful! The lyrics in the songs have so much meaning; But also when communicating with your fellow cast members just a kind word can make someone feel wanted and loved.” In her free time, Grace likes singing and dancing! Eventually, Grace wants to be a “stay at home mom with children of my own that I can do my best to lead to Christ.” Grace wants the world to know that “Christ has a gift for every single one of us and we just have to except His gift which is eternal life in harmony with Him and those who love Him! He died so we could enjoy His gift of life and have a purpose.”
Abigail F. (Chorus)
This is Abigail’s second year of STP! One thing she has enjoyed while working on Never After this year is that “Every role is important and the show does a good job portraying sin.” Her favorite part of being involved in Never After is the music/songs! In her spare time, Abigail enjoys singing and taking pictures, Abigail hopes to be a photographer in the future. Abigail wants the world to know that Jesus “brings hope, He is love, and if we just trust in Him and give our hearts to Him He has given us Salvation.”
Victoria G. (Goldilocks)
This is Victoria’s fifth year in STP! Her favorite part of working on Never After is “seeing God work and move through the cast as we grow in Him.” This year she has learned “To be patient, your happily ever after will come, but on Gods timing, not your own.” In the future, Victoria wants to be a director at a Theatre! In her free time, she enjoys Tae Kwon Do and theatre! Victoria wants to tell the world that Jesus “is a loving and merciful God who already has the best planned out for you. You just need to be patent, listen, and try your best to follow His will. Place your worries in His hands and leave them there. God has your back!”
Jonathan H. (Aiden)
This is Jonathan’s ninth year in STP, his favorite role in that time is Aiden! His favorite thing about playing Aiden is that “it has really pushed him to break acting habits of sorts.” Jonathan’s Hobbies include singing, and doing “hair stuffs”. In the future, Jonathan wants to “work in both the barber shop and the quartet!” One thing Jonathan wants the world to know is that “Jesus is the light at the end of the hallway and all you have to do is walk to him.”
Mimi H. (Lily)
This is Mimi’s third year in STP! One thing she has learned this year is not to take anything at face value. One thing she has enjoyed about working on Never After is the choreography for the dances and the fighting! She has also enjoyed playing Lily, who is a fun combination of being sarcastic and a bit of an air head. In her spare time, Mimi swims competitively (13+ hours a week), and writes a little! In the future, Mimi wants to be a swim coach and to own her own Chick-fil-A! Mimi wants the world to know just how real and pure God’s love is!
Joyanna M. (Cinderella)
This is Joyanna’s eighth year in STP, and in that time, her favorite role she’s played is “Cosette” in Les Misèrables! One thing she has learned from being in Never After is that “the Lord is always near to me. Jesus has broken my chains and calls me His. I never have a reason to stop singing ‘I am free!’” In the future, Joyanna hopes to be a music artist writing, recording, and performing her music and sharing her passion for music and Jesus with others! Her hobbies include songwriting, playing the piano, singing, hanging out with her fabulous family, driving, and having chats with friends over a good cup of coffee. Joyanna wants to tell the world “He never stops pursuing us! Even when we think we are unforgivable, unredeemable, and unlovable, our Savior stands ready to forgive, redeem, and love us. We’re never too far gone, never beyond His reach. He can break our chains and set us free so we are no longer a slave to fear!”
Melanie M. (Gretel)
This is Melanie’s eighth year in STP! In that time, Gretel is her favorite role she has ever played! In her spare time, Melanie enjoys being with family, being outside, reading, singing, and cleaning. In the future, Melanie wants to be an Elementary Teacher, a mom and a faithful servant to the Most Holy God doing whatever he calls her to do. One thing Melanie has learned this year is “no matter how far we may run from God, He is always right behind us, waiting and calling us to come home to Him. I have learned that He is an ever-present shelter for the lost, broken, and sinful.”
Lauren P. (Christine)
Over the five years Lauren has been in STP, her favorite role was “Chris” in The Prodigals. Some of Lauren’s hobbies include playing piano, guitar, ukulele, and drums, drawing, reading, singing, and spending time with family and friends! In the future, Lauren wants to teach English online, sing about God to people in need of hope, and adopt alpacas. Lauren wants to tell the world that “Even when we fail [Jesus], He is merciful to forgive us and love us despite our sins. He is always there for us, even when no one else is. Even when the world is crumbling, even when our hearts are breaking, He will stay right by our sides. He will wipe away our tears and He will mend our broken hearts.”
Molly S. (Polly)
In the five years Molly has been in STP, Polly has been her favorite role! In the future, Molly wants to work with people in hospitality and event planning! Some of her hobbies include singing, dancing, acting, theatre, hanging with friends, and photography. One thing Molly has learned from playing Polly is that “that letting others in and letting others help is not a bad thing, you don’t have to think/handle it all by yourself and always act like you have it together, but with the help of others, much more can be accomplished! But what I’ve learned from being in the show is to not give up hope, or feel alone. You are never alone, God is with you.
Logan T. (Hansel)
This is Logan’s second year in STP and his favorite role is his current one! One thing Logan has learned from being in Never After is “not be ignorant and disrespect authority because they probably know what is best for you, and if you don’t listen, then you can find yourself stranded in the middle of the woods in a giant candy house with a witch that wants to eat you, hypothetically speaking of course.” In his free time, Logan likes to spend time with friends and family, acting, singing, watching movies, and playing cello, saxophone, and piano. Logan wants the world to know that you “are never too far away from Jesus and that no one is ever too far from forgiveness and his grace.”
Brier W. (Father)
This is Brier’s first year in STP and his favorite part of being in Never After is all the wonderful people involved in this production! One thing he has learned this year is the struggle of holding out hope for your children. In his spare time, Brier enjoys reading, playing piano, and sign language. In the future, Brier wants to be a biology teacher! One thing that Brier wants to tell the world about Jesus is that “He wept.”
Ellie W. (Abigail)
This is Ellie’s third year of being in STP, and her favorite part of working on a show is watching the show change and adapt as the play comes together! One thing she has learned from being in Never After this year is that following God’s calling is the only way to true happiness. Eventually, Ellie wants to be a flight attendant, but for now, she enjoys horseback riding, traveling, and reading. Ellie wants to tell the world that Jesus “will give us the strength to accomplish His will.”
Karenna W. (Dara)
This is Karenna’s second year in STP! Her favorite role she has played was the “Wicked Queen” in Snow White (Cornerstone Theatre). Her favorite part of being in Never After is working on choreographing the fight scene. In her free time, Karenna enjoys paddle boarding, dancing, working out, and traveling. In the future, Karenna wants to be an actress or a wedding planner! Karenna wants to tell the world that “peace comes when you completely surrender everything to [Jesus].”
Jansen A. (The Duchess, Tree)
This is Jansen’s fourth year at STP. Over the years, her favorite role was “Jenny” (Prodigals) in the gym class scene. Jansen wants the world to know that “all things happen according to His plan, He’s always in control”.
Nia A. (Gothel)
In the Five years Nia has been apart of STP, her favorite role was “Billie Holiday” in Joseph. In her spare time, Nia enjoys musical theatre, reading, journaling, and organizing. Her future plans include addending university in the fall, enrolling in nursing school, and receiving her masters. As an individual who is passionate about women’s rights, Nia hopes the travel and use her degree to assist women in need. This year, Nia has learned that “when looking for worldly validation and acceptance, you will always end up searching for more. True beauty and self-love come when you look towards your Creator and begin to see yourself through the eyes of your Savior.”
Christine B. (Lulu)
This is Christine’s seventh year in STP! Her favorite role was “Alice” in Through the Looking Glass! Christine’s favorite thing about being in Out of the Woods is the creativity of the directing staff. She says “The show is constantly changing and that’s honestly the most fun part of theatre—the malleability.” In her spare time, Christine can be found playing tennis, writing, reading, and pursuing artistic endeavors. One thing she has learned is “To be careful not to upstage others- Jesus should be the center of attention. He’s not just our Audience, He’s also the main attraction!”
Grace B. (Alice)
In the four years that Grace has been in STP, her favorite role was “Nancy” I’m Oliver Twist. One thing Grace has learned from being in Out of the Woods is “I have learned to never stop praying, caring, and showing love towards others even if they are not living a Christ-like life.” Grace wants to be a missionary stationed in Cancun, Mexico. Her hobbies include Spending lots of time in the great outdoors, traveling, and learning Spanish. Grace wants to tell the world, “I encourage you to live every moment with the intention and mindset that Christ will be returning to earth very soon. As believers in Christ, we need to continue to pray and seek for many opportunities to share the gospel with others. One day every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord whether you are a believer or not!”
James B. (Hansel)
This is James’ fifth year in STP, his favorite role was “The Scarecrow” in The Wizard of Oz. This year, James has enjoyed the “the fun, but crazy, preparation. Walking into rehearsal I am never disappointed, from talking about the objective of a 20 year old tree, to warming up our voices while playing human pac man with our director.”In his spare time, James enjoys wakeboarding, music, and reading! When he grows up, James wants to be a pastor. James says, “While playing the role Hansel, I see a story of hope, that even when you are left with no one, God shows the way, He leads you to people to bond with, protect you, and help you grow in Him.”
Anna C. (Sasha)
This is Anna’s first year in STP! Her favorite role in was being apart of the ensemble in Les Misérables. In her free time, Anna loves ballroom dancing, under-water basket weaving, art, mountain yodeling, and piano. Anna’s favorite part of being in this show is being able to tell others about God.
Haven C. (Ensemble)
In her five years at STP, Haven’s favorite role was “Tracy” in Prodigals. Her hobbies include acting, painting, and journaling. In the future, Haven wants to be a set designer. Her favorite thing about being in Out of the Woods is getting to work with the creative team to help bring to life the vision for this show! This year, Haven has learned about being flexible and working as a team with my classmates. Haven wants to tell the world that “no matter where you are at or the state of the world, you are always able to call out to Jesus and he will guide you out of the darkness.”
Levi C. (le Saint)
This is Levi’s first year of STP! Levi’s favorite role was “Beast” in Beauty and the Beast. Levi’s hobbies include playing piano, singing, and playing ultimate frisbee. Levi wants to be knight when he grows up! His favorite part of the show was enjoying the atmosphere and hanging out with fellow cast mates. Levi has learned to appreciate the intricacies of the trinity and the Holy Spirit while developing his character. Levi hopes that what people take away from this show is how great God is and for the show to inspire God’s children to preserver and keep his word.
Amber D. (Cinderella)
In her four years in STP, her favorite roll was “Ada” in Through the Looking Glass. One thing Amber has learned this year is to be patient and wait on God’s timing, because He has a plan. In the future, Amber wants to be an activities director for an assisted living center or a middle school guidance counselor. In her spare time, she likes playing piano, ukulele, and singing. Amber wants to tell the world “I want to tell the world that God has a plan for your life and you’re never too far gone. Just be patient and know He’s there every step of the way. You just need to trust in Him and surrender your life to Him. You can’t do it on your own.”
Kaitlyn D. (Chorus)
This is Kaitlyn’s first year in STP! When she has free time, Kaitlyn can be found reading, painting, baking, ridding her Ripstick, and playing the electric guitar. When she grows up, Kaitlyn thinks she will do something with business and computers. Her favorite thing about being in Out of the Woods is the wonderful community at STP! Kaitlyn wants to tell the world “I hope that the play reminds people of the great hope we have in Jesus!”
Emily E. (Lala)
In Emily’s four years in STP, her current role is her favorite one! Her favorite thing about being in Out of the Woods is getting to know people and growing closer to them. One thing she has learned this year is that God can bring good things out of negative circumstances. Emily wants to be an actress and voice teacher when she grows up, but for now her hobbies include reading, singing and playing the ukulele. Emily wants to tell the world “God’s Love never fails. He will always be there for you, even when you can’t feel his presence, he will never leave you.”
David F. (Mark)
This is David’s eleventh year in STP. One things he has learned from being in Out of the Woods is “greater is He who is in you than He who is in the world. Even when you’re getting beat up pretty bad, there is only one outcome, and that is Jesus winning.” David wants to be a CGI artist in the future. He says, “If you don’t know what that is, don’t feel bad. Nobody else knows what that is either.” Davis wants to tell the world “I want people to know that God is the god of the universe, and he can blow your head clean off… if he wants to.”
Leanna F. (Claire)
This is Leanna’s third year in STP, and her favorite role was “Jamie” in Audience of One. In the future, Leanna wants to be a behavioral analyst for the FBI. For now, she enjoys being in plays and going to see plays, videography, and exploring local parks. One things she has learned from being in Out of the Woods is “that there is a difference between rebelliousness and Independence. Being rebellious for the sake of opposing authority is not beneficial to anyone, but being independent for the sake of personal growth and for the sake of the growth of others is very healthy.” Leanna wants to tell the world that Jesus, “is attentive; he sees your faithful heart even if you are surrounded by wrong-doing. He will reward holy loyalty!”
Josh F. (Kingdom Citizen, Rumpelstiltskin, King of Hearts, Come Follow Me Soloist, Tree)
This is Josh’s sixth year in STP! His favorite role he has played was Gene/Pew in Ceramic Goose’s Treasure Island. In his free time, Josh enjoys composition, writing, and computer coding, in the future, he wants to be a software developer. His favorite thing about being in Out of the Woods is listening to Mr. Brian’s piano playing. Josh wants to tell the world that Jesus, “can reach and strengthen us through everything we experience and participate in.”
Kate F. (Myra)
Over her four years at STP, Kate’s favorite role was “Martha” in The Secret Garden! In her free time, you can find Kate reading, playing volleyball, and singing. In the future, Kate wants to be a pediatric oncology nurse! Her favorite part about being in Out of the Woods is how unique the show is, and how it is inspired by Revelation. Kate wants to tell the world “Trust God because he has a great plan for your life.”
Aaron G. (Dragon Voice, Tree, Mad Hatter)
Throughout the four years Aaron has been in STP, his favorite role was “Mr. Sowerby” in Oliver Twist. In his spare time, Aaron can be found reading, sword fighting, and playing video games. In the future, Aaron would like to get a job and be a father. His favorite thing about being in Out of the Woods is seeing all the different STP characters interact and come together for this one big show. Aaron wants to tell the world that “the real Jesus is not what most of today’s Christianity thinks Jesus is. He is so amazing and beyond comprehension and we can only understand and find Him when we look in His Word.”
Lili G. (Chorus, Tree)
This is Lili’s fourth year in STP, her favorite role in that time is her current one! One thing Lili likes about being in Out of the Woods is that everyone is important. She also loves that the cast, and that they all keep each others spirits up! When she grows up, Lili wants to be a film director and maybe even be a director at STP. Lili wants to tell the world that “Jesus is the light and you got to follow the light!”
Meredith G. (Evil Chorus 3, Queen of Hearts, Tree)
This is Meredith’s fourth year in STP, and her favorite role is her current ones! One thing she has learned this year is to yell pretty loud! In her spare time, she likes art, playing ukulele and piano, playing Smash Bros, and reading/studying the Bible and theology. In the future, Meredith wants to be a wife and mom. Meredith wants to tell the world, “There’s so much I want to tell! But we’ll stick with this… Jesus the Son of God came to earth and died for your sins. Repent and believe in Him. He is the ONLY Way. He is everything you need and the only thing you have.”
Darcy H. (The Wicked Witch)
This is Darcy’s seventh year in STP, her favorite role in that time was “Mrs. Pruitt” from The Secret Garden or her current role. Her hobbies include writing, drawing, painting, play on her instruments, and looking on Pinterest. Darcy wants to be a author when she grows up! Darcy wants to tell the world that “My favorite Bible verse is Matthew 5:16, which says, Therefore let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. This says that we need to go and witness to the world, and that is exactly what I plan to do.”
Lucie M. (Woman 1, Tree)
In her five years at STP, Lucie’s favorite role was a “Ziegfeld Girl” in Joseph. Theatre takes up a huge portion of Lucie’s life, but when she’s not at rehearsal she can be found writing, playing music, reading poetry, drinking tea, and taking long quiet walks down every target! In the future, Lucie hopes to pursue a degree in early childhood education, with a minor in writing and theatre. One thing she has learned this year is “do not conform to this world, and all the lies it wants you to believe.” Lucie wants to tell the world that “no matter what- God loves you and you are always worth it!”
Dominic M. (King Michael, Tree)
This is Dominic’s second year in STP, his favorite role was “FDR” in Joseph (“the man who could not walk, but still ran for president”). In his spare time, Dominic enjoys theatre, and “contemplating the meaning of a certain class of dank memes”. When he grows up he “wants to be a millionaire without having to work for it…but not all dreams come true.” Dominic wants to tell the world that “Do what you do for God, so your success will be because He ordained it, and your failure will not matter because He controls the outcome.”
Sumner M. (Chorus)
This is Sumner’s second year in STP and her favorite role was “Tweedledum” in Through the Looking Glass. Her favorite thing about being in Out of the Woods is how every little thing works together for an amazing “big picture” and overall experience and aesthetic. She doesn’t know what she wants to be when she grows up, but for now, her favorite things include writing, reading, singing and art. Sumner wants to tell the world about Jesus’ forgiveness.
Luke O. (Alex)
During the five years he has been in STP, Luke’s favorite role was “Gavroche” in Les Misérables! In his free time, Luke can be found whittling, birdwatching, singing, playing piano, working on carpentry, gardening, and fishing. When he grows up, Luke wants to be “older than I am now!” His favorite part of being in Out of the Woods is singing the finale! Luke wants to tell the world that “You’re never too far gone to respond to Jesus knocking a the door.”
Cana P. (Christiana)
This is Cana’s seventh year in STP, and her favorite roll in that time was “Madame Thenardier” in Les Misérables. Cana loves journaling, dance and most sports. Her favorite part of Out of the Woods is getting the spend time with all her amazing friends and getting to learn more about God with them through this year. Through Cana’s role she is learning the importance of uplifting her brothers and sisters in Christ through prayer. This fall She will be attending a community college to get her associates degree in forensic science and then, Lord willing, move to Appalachian state to get her bachelors degree. Her favorite verse is Exodus 14:14 which says “The Lord will Fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Rylee R. (Woman #2)
In the six years Rylee has been in STP, her favorite role was “The White Queen” in Through the Looking Glass. In her free time, Rylee enjoys reading, singing, and acting. One day, she hopes to be a pediatric nurse because she loves kids and wants to help the world in some way. One thing Rylee likes about being in Out of the Woods is “the story. It shows the message of God in so many ways.” Rylee wants to tell the world that “Jesus is the Savior of the world and he will never leave you EVEN in when it feels like He has.”
Emma-Kate W. (Queen Laralyn)
This is Emma-Kate’s fifth year in STP! Her favorite thing about being in Out of the Woods is “Getting to be a part of sharing this amazing story! And I get to do it with some pretty awesome people.” Emma-Kate’s hobbies include writing, playing violin, and singing- in the future, she wants to be a writer! One thing she has learned from being in Out of the Woods is “When God is with me, I can overcome anything.” Emma-Kate wants to tell the world that “No matter how difficult life is, we always have hope in God’s promise to never leave us!”
